FHG HISTORY
FHG
Enterprises, Inc., established in June of 2000, became a vision
of Joe Gatas in 1998. He wanted to form his
own company that revolved around glorifying God and helping
others. Therefore, the name FHG (For
His
Glory)
was chosen.
For several years, many concepts were researched before deciding on Checkers© Drive-In Restaurants Inc. in August of 2000. Checkers© Drive-In was decided on because of the immense growth opportunities, and the direction the Corporation was heading in.
We have now created our own concept called Bok Bok Fresh. In the year 2000, Joe and Pati Gatas, who have been in the food industry for over 30 years, saw the rise of family business, eating on the go. We are one of those families whose healthy eating began to deteriorate the busier we got. We saw the need for a quick-service restaurant that served high quality food.
Fast food has been trying hard to get better, but will continue to fall short because of all the processed foods. And fast casual is too slow for the average American family.
Bok Bok Fresh is our response to the dilemma. High-quality foods served fast - a fresh combination that meets the health needs and time limits of fast paced America.
The executive team has been excelling in the QSR industry together for the past ten years and has helped build a $60 million corporation. Joe, Darrin, Pam, Sally, Robert and Louis have a total of over 75 years experience. The same principles and level of excellence that helped in our past success will be continued in FHG Enterprises, Inc.

Checkers Drive-In
Restaurants are a franchise encompassing nearly nine hundred
restaurants nationally.
Checkers began in 1986 in Alabama focusing on a "back to basics" approach. This simple formula of made to order hamburgers, served quickly, with warm hospitality, allowed Checkers to grow throughout the southeast.
Our restaurants are designed around a distinctive 1950's diner and art deco motif that permits service of cars from both sides of the restaurant.
Checkers restaurants feature a limited menu of hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and our famous fries. Our unique Double Drive-thru concept provides excellent speed of service. We pride ourselves in serving our "guests" the freshest food around, because we make it when you order it.
We at FHG are constantly striving to serve our customers to the best of our ability. We care about our employees - our "team members" - and the communities in which they live.
